General Information
Information services play a crucial role in supporting education, teaching, and scientific research conducted at universities.
Information services at our universities are carried out within the framework of library and documentation departments.
Our university's Library and Documentation Department began its operations in 2009, establishing a reading room and providing students with access to e-library resources via the internet.
Within the scope of our department's organization, the goal is to expand the electronic library to meet user needs and to make the library collection, developed through appropriate budgeting/selection and procurement, available to users in coordination with unit librarians.
Our university's central library has a total of 43,000 printed books and 3,750,000 electronic books. Most records are available in the online catalog. With the increasing number of specialists, the process of digitizing records in our library is rapidly continuing.
Electronic libraries are another service developed through the centralization of library services and the use of information processing techniques. Work on this subject is ongoing intensively. You can access the databases we offer to our users under the "electronic library" heading on our website.
